WILL YOU TEACH SOMEONE TO “PRAY THE ROSARY EVERY DAY”?

THE ROSARY ON THE CAMINO | DAYS 6 & 7

Dear Friends in Christ:

Happy Mother’s Day! To show our love for the Mother of God, let’s learn the Regina Cæli.

EWTN explains that '“This is one of four Marian antiphons, with following versicles and prayers, traditionally said or sung after night prayer, immediately before going to sleep. It is said throughout Eastertide. (That is, from Easter Day through Pentecost, the seventh Sunday after Easter.”

In the following lesson, we challenge you on Days 6 and 7 of this novena to simply learn to chant with 5 decades of the Rosary the Regina Cæli. In today’s Chant School video, a father teaches his daughter how to sing the Regina Caeli which Pope Leo XIV sang to the crowds today!

Anyone, even little children, can learn how to sing in Latin! See the following cards below.

Pope Leo XIV gave today his first “Regina Cæli” and in Latin he taught the crowds to sing to the Mother of God with confidence and trust in this universal language of Heaven. Here is the speech:

To learn the REGINA CAELI in LATIN — sing with Pope Leo XVI or else recite this prayer to Our Lady at 12:00 noon everyday through eastertide. We have provided a fun lesson to help you learn with Chant School below — in this lovely father and daughter video:

NOTE: The Regina caeli takes the place of the Angelus in the days following Easter Sunday.

We invite you to memorize the words in Latin: “Regina caeli”

Regina caeli, laetare, alleluia.
Quia quem meruisti portare, alleluia.
Resurrexit, sicut dixit, alleluia.
Ora pro nobis Deum, alleluia.

Gaude et laetare, Virgo Maria, alleluia.
Quia surrexit Dominus vere, alleluia.

Oremus. Amen.

Queen of Heaven

Queen of Heaven, rejoice, alleluia.
For He whom you did merit to bear, alleluia.
Has risen, as he said, alleluia.
Pray for us to God, alleluia.
Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary, alleluia.
For the Lord has truly risen, alleluia.

Let us pray. O God, who gave joy to the world through the resurrection of Thy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, grant we beseech Thee, that through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, His Mother, we may obtain the joys of everlasting life. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
